<title>Documentary Hypothesis</title>
The Documentary Hypothesis has been debunked for over 100 years, and yet it is still taught in seminaries and bible colleges, not to metntion Yale, and other higher-end institutions worldwide. One wonders why, since the evidence is squarely against it. There is, in fact, a truly scary amount of information discrediting the documentary hypothesis available for anyone who is interested. You could easily find articles such as the below with a quick search:

In a Nutshell
There are so many ways to bring home the bacon on this one I am speechless for choice. The following quote, however, has sometimes come to mind:
' . . . Even the most ardent advocate of the documentary theory must admit that we have as yet no single scrap of external, objective evidence for either the existence or the history of J, E, or any other alleged source-document..' (p. 23, Kitchen, K.A. (1966), Ancient Orient and Old Testament. London: Tyndale).
That was written in 1966, but about 40 years later the situation is even more bleak since it is now obvious that no evidence to support Wellhausen's theory will ever be found.“The Intellectual Arrogance of Julius Wellhausen”,

Today in 2020 that 40 years has become 60 years, all the original authors have been discredited and are dead. Why are their ideas still being taught as fact?
