“Yes, I worship the God of the Bible.”
Now we're getting places!
But, the Bible is a big book! And there are many Abrahamic, Judeo-Christian religions. Each one has a different view of God. Judaism is only very slightly varigated. Islam is more varigated, perhaps uncomfortably so. Christianity is of course the most varigated religion in the world. Not good. But whatever you believe in I am very happy to confide with you that I believe you're on the right track.
That's right, hang in there,
You're on the right track, baby!
It's important to clarify here we are definitely talking about the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. That God.
But what is more important is, what your relationship with God is. May I ask? What is your relationship with God? How do you know God? Who is God to you? Pick the one that applies to you most.
My relationship with God is…
- God created the Universe – Those under the Adamic Covenant.
- God cursed my ancestor, Cain – Those under the curse of Cain.
- God Saved Noah from the Flood – Sons of Noah – Noachides – bna'i Noach, but not sons of Abraham.
- Abraham via Issac – Those under Abraham via Issac.
- Abraham via Ishmael – Those under Abraham via Ishmael.
- Out of Egypt – God brought my people out of Egypt.
- Israel – My ancestors were at Mt. Sinai and became Israel by accepting 'the covenant'.
- Christian – I believe that Jesus is God.
- Muslim – There is no God but Allah and Mohammed is his prophet.
- Other Biblical – I believe in the God of the Bible and I use The Bible for to study and worship but I am not a member of any of the above groups.
