Rum Soaked Fist is a martial arts discussion board with a wide appeal to Chinese internal martial artists, but it has three big problems. One, they merge the Xingyi, Bagua and Taiji discussion boards into one board, so it is often hard to figure out which art they are talking about, and members get into frequent arguments. Two, there is no reputation system (such as a +1 type system or web of trust type system) so it is difficult to know who you are dealing with, or how credible they are in that community. Third, the trolls generally outnumber the knowledgeable posters. This creates a situation where the moderators only intervene in extreme situations because they are scared of losing posters.
All in all, if you are willing to spend the time required to get to know a core group of around 10-15 posters, and get a feel for where they are coming from, you can enjoy this place. I'd rate it about a 7/10 in terms of where you want to be for CMA on the internet. It's a great mixing place, for what it is.
