Noachide Study Bible (NSB) refers to the commentary and layout of our version of the NSV.

Noachide Standard Version (NSV) refers to the underlying scripture.

The NCB and/or NSV text may be quoted in any form (written, visual, electronic or audio), up to and inclusive of twenty (20) verses without express written permission of the publisher, providing the verses do not amount to a complete book of the Bible nor do the verses quoted account for thirty percent (30%) or more of the total text of the work in which they are quoted.

When the NCB and/or NSV is quoted in works that exercise the above fair use clause, notice of copyright must appear on the title or copyright page or opening screen of the work (whichever is appropriate) as follows:

THE HOLY BIBLE, NOACHIDE STANDARD VERSION, NSV Copyright © 2020 by Appledog Hu. Used by permission. All rights reserved worldwide.

or as appropriate,

When quotations from the NSB or NSV text are used in non-salable media such as church bulletins, orders of service, posters, transparencies or similar media, a complete copyright notice is not required, but the quotations must be marked as coming from the NCB or NSV as appropriate – the initials NSV must appear at the end of each scripture quotation and the initials NCB after quotations of non-scriptural material such as commentary.

Any commentary or other Biblical reference work produced for commercial sale that uses the Noachide Bible must obtain written permission for the use of the NCB and/or NSV text.

Permission requests for commercial use within the U.S., Canada, the UK, EEC and EFTA countries that exceed the above guidelines must be directed to, and approved in writing by, Appledog Hu at appledog at noachide dot “ca” for Canada.
