Systematic Classification of Life - ep37 Primata

From the “Response to AronRa” series.

Summary

I decided to skip from 24 to 37 since this one deals with “Primata” and hopefully primates, in the hopes that AronRa would make some comment about religion or creationism I could respond to. At arounf 11:10, he essentially states we are all primates. Well, we are – in the sense we are also mammals, and in the dictionary definition stating “any of various omnivorous mammals of the order Primates, comprising the three suborders Anthropoidea (humans, great apes, gibbons, Old World monkeys, and New World monkeys), Prosimii (lemurs, loris, and their allies), and Tarsioidea (tarsiers), especially distinguished by the use of hands, varied locomotion, and by complex flexible behavior involving a high level of social interaction and cultural adaptability.”

So yeah we're primates. This isn't news and doesn't really require a response.

Polemical Value

No polemical value wrt the idea of a theist responding to an atheist in this one.

Video Commentary

This section is usually written during a final watch after I've seen the video through once or twice. Then I go back and write the summary (above).
