He began his training in the martial arts in 1968 when he was 12 years old, studying under both legendary martial artist Grandmaster [[Wang Zi-Ping]] (1881~1973), and Grandmaster (Professor) [[Wang Ju-Rong]]. Grandmaster Hu was also trained by eminent Chinese Tai Chi Masters, such as Master [[Gu Liu-Xin]] and Master [[He Bin-Quan]]. With over 30 years of teaching experience, Grandmaster Hu has become an expert in all the major styles of Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Kung Fu. He teaches: [[Zhen-Yuan Tai Chi]], [[Therapeutic Chi Kung]], [[Chen Style]], Tai Chi, [[Xin Yi Chuan|Xingyiquan]], and Northern Shaolin Kung Fu & Self-Defence. In particular, Grandmaster Hu specializes in [[Zhen Yuan Tai Chi]]. Today, Grandmaster Hu is an endorsed 3rd-generation descendant in the [[Wu Yi Jie He]] lineage (Chinese Martial Arts & Chinese Medicine Combined Teaching System), founded by one of China's historical heroes, Northern Shaolin Grandmaster [[Wang Zi Ping|Wang Zi-Ping]].
